Searching for Graduate Schemes

It’s summer! Which for many of you means the end of exams and the end of your time here with us at UoH. So what next? Whether you have not yet secured employment or have been unsure what you would like to do next, it is not too late to apply to some amazing opportunities.

TARGETjobs are currently promoting a number of graduate schemes from different sectors with deadlines spanning over the summer months, up until the end of August. I have included a variety of examples below:

Public service, charity and social work graduate schemes and programmes

  • MI5 – The Security Service intelligence officer development programme 15 July

Engineering graduate training schemes and programmes

  • Babcock International Group mechanical engineering programme 31 July

Accountancy and financial management and financial services and insurance graduate schemes and programmes

  • Hargreaves Services plc graduate roles in finance and treasury 10 July

These are by no means the only opportunities out there – this is just a small selection. If you continue to use the relevant job search websites, such as Prospects, Graduate-Jobs and of course our very own CareerHub, you will find employment!

As always, the Careers, Employment and Enterprise team are on hand for bookable appointments – whether it’s to sit a mock interview for that all important job, or simply to gain general advice about the next steps in your professional or academic journey.

Keep searching! There could be an amazing graduate opportunity waiting for you at the next turn!
